1. Nobody will come to save you
Your life is YOUR life. If you’re broke right now, it is your responsibility to do something about it. Experience will teach you that in this life you’re on your own. People you depended on for help will stop helping after a certain point.

Usually that point is when you need them most.
YOUR LIFE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Let that sink in.
If you’re a lady, know that beauty is not a skill and a man is not a financial plan. It is your responsibility to fill your brain so that your stomach can be filled and your future will be better.
As a guy, work to be able to live without depending on anybody. A core Chinese national value is self reliance. This is the reason why the Chinese have over taken the US to become the largest economy in the world. Learn from them. Work hard to dissociate yourself from depending on people, especially your relatives. Be a man of honour.
2. Your PROGRESS in life is your business
If you are stagnating in your life, remember you are not the first. That you are stagnating does not mean the world is over. It just means that the lessons/knowledge you have learnt over the years have reached their limit. You need to learn more. Period.
If this is the case, it is your responsibility to find people who have moved past your station of stagnation and ask them how they moved beyond it. This is startlingly simple, but almost NOBODY does this.
By the time you’ve spoken with 3 people, you’ll begin to get an idea of what to do. And here comes the most important part.
Do what you learn immediately you learn it.
Remember, knowing does not equal doing.
3. Stop Complaining
Don’t join the herd.
People who complain testify by their complaining that they are helpless.
If Nigeria has a problem, and you want to work towards solving it, fine.
But don’t sit with political blogs and twitter heads and criticise politicians when your stomach empty and your bank account is  ringing echoes. You have better things to do with your time and life.
